But my doctor started me on zoloft 25 mg its been 8 days and i took this medication before and it worked very well but idk if something changed in my body or what but everytime i take it im having bad side effects and i feel afraid after i take it its made my anxiety heightened is this dose to low? Has anyone experinced this with zoloft?
. Does anyone know whats the best meds for OCD/GAD, PTSD, Major depression, agoraphobia, panic disorder. I have it all i just want to feel better . im currently taking clonazepam and that helps but i dont want to be on a benzo forever. Or lexapro is that a better choice. Please lmk thank you so much

Hi, I feel for you, I am battling severe Depression and High Anxiety. I would talk to your Dr. that seems like a very low dose, and they can trigger negative feelings at the wrong dose, I am on 100 mg of Zoloft and think I need a higher dose, I'v been on 200 mg in the past. Get the help you need, be good to yourself, treat yourself with love, I send you love & hugs.....Sprinkle 1. xx oo
Thank you so much for the advice i just want to feel better i dont want to quit on this medication cause it helped in the past i just hate how its making me feel . i hope my Dr will find something better for me to take.
And i hope you feel better don't give up things will get better sending you a big hug and loves xoxo๐๐
What a lovely response, you made me feel hope. There are a lot of drugs out there, so the Dr. may have to try more than one. Like you say, do not give up, I saw my therapist today and she threw me a couple of ideas to think about, so I have been practicing this afternoon, it has tamed the anxiety a little, after I write this to you I am going to meditate, got nothing to loose. Hang in there lady, we will improve, but I wish it would hurry up?!! Sending Love & Hugs.....Sprinkle 1......xxx ooo
Iโve never tried Zoloft, but I have tried lexapro. I took it for a year and it worked great, but it gave me restless legs and I couldnโt sleep at night because of it. I ended up stopping it. My anxiety recently has gotten really bad after 3 years of being able to manage it. I thought i could just start the lexapro again and be fine. My 2nd time around taking it was awful. I had really bad side effects. I ate nothing for 4 days because I was so sick to my stomach from it. It also made my anxiety even worse. I would definitely talk to your doctor if it doesnโt get better Iโm a few days. I hope you get some relief soon๐
Yeah 2nd time around with the zoloft has been horrible ..im looking into other meds but im scared now im getting a gene sight test done hopefully that will help i can see what meds will work for me. Thank you for the advice i hope you feel better ๐๐. i just used this app called youper you should check it out its really helpful with anxiety and depression ect. ๐ sending you hugs
I had no idea there were tests available to see which antidepressants work best based on genes! I am so glad I came across your post! I have a feeling of hope. Definitely will be doing this test

I am not a doctor, but a medical professional with a lot of personal experience with these problems. Are you aware that all of the following problems of yours fall under the umbrella of Anxiety? ...OCD, GAD, PTSD, agoraphobia, panic disorder? So would any of the following: social anxiety, health anxiety, and so on. It tells you how very high your levels of anxiety are, that's why I mention it.
Be prepared to accept a benzo or other strong treatment to beat this. ...and time. Lots of time. A good counselor/therapist is another huge part of getting and staying well. Please don't skip this step. Find that person whose a good fit for you because they'll play a critical part in your wellness which you may not recognize right away.
I doubt if Lexapro, an antidepressant with a little antianxiety help will be enough for you without a benzo for all that anxiety. Go ahead and try, but be open to whatever results you get and the possibility it may not be exactly what you need. Examine yourself for levels of sadness, desire to sleep too much, anxiousness, motivation to get things done, etc. daily while trying out a drug. Make a chart for every day if you will, it's been extremely helpful and easy to decide with for me and my doc.
I'm out of time now but write if you want to, I'm here for you. Take care and you'll be fine. Hugs, Love, and Blessings...โบ๏ธ๐๐๐๐ฑ๐๐
I have been journaling now and writing down everything that im going through its helping and also ive been doing deep breathing exercises. Im currently taking clonazepam and it helps but idk what antidepressant will work best for me until i get that gene sight test done.
I found a therapist she's amazing i will be seeing her once my car is fixed . i have support from my friends and my sister which has helped me but i still need a medication to level me out.
Its been so hard i really hate having anxiety i feel like im suffocating.
And yes it takes time which has always been hard for me because i just want to get better right away but im working on being patient.
Thank you for reaching out i really appreciate it.
Hello,I've had panic disorder since I was 15,and have tried so many different medications, but the Zoloft is the one that has helped the most.i take 200 milligrams,my dr.says you usually have to take higher doses for anxiety and panic.they can raise dose every couple weeks.
