Hi.

Give this a try and see what happens.

Sit or lie down somewhere comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Put one hand on your tummy, the other hand on your heart.

Breathe in through your nose, directing the air FIRST toward your tummy, then fill your chest up toward your heart. (Imagine filling yourself up, like an air-balloon.)

Purse your lips as if you are blowing out through a straw, and exhale.

COUNT ONE.

Repeat sixty times. Do not expect this to "fix" the problem. But you may find some relaxation. Repetition is supposed to make this easier, and work better.

I know what it's like. I wish you well.

You’re going to be ok. I know it doesn’t feel like it will be, but you will. Just keep doing what nothing-but-pain is telling you.

Your mind is playing a trick on you, it happens to me all the time. It is trying to make you feel sick. Breathing has helped me a lot.

Breath in positive and energy and let the negative out. It can seem impossible but you can do it.

I send you love and support. Just breathe.

Hon,

If you are concerned about being sick, check with a doctor. It's important to reassure yourself YUP, this is just (JUST?) old familiar panic again - OR- I have a cold, and I know what to do about that.

Don't want to dismiss anything offhand.

But as hopefullyhappytoday assures you, it is VERY common for panic to include all kinds of nasty physical symptoms.

Best.

By the way, is your name any reference to Hendrix? Surely you're not a silver-haired geezer like me?
