Today I drank in the sunshine and the breeze and the sound of the wind in the trees. I only had about 25 minutes in the nearby national forest, but I was craving that place. As I wandered over an antique bridge, shaking out my hair to catch the sun, I slingshot my momentary concerns back to the universe. Ahhh.
I have to seek out such places.
I need to go where I don’t have any interruptions from ‘society’ because every minute I spend interacting with folks is a moment’s less peace recently.
Not to fault anybody, but I need to take a close look how my time is being spent.
It’s a side effect of getting old.
Get out to the woods, y’all.
Find a creek to listen to and maybe wet your feet.
Much Love

I know, and it’s like it wasn’t even my idea- I just took off, no real plan. I was thinking that with any luck I might find a spot to myself, and then I pulled over between two hills, got out of the car, and walked across that bridge as the clouds parted. And I just got lifted up by the sun shining all over me, and the bridge, and the creek- I was in that moment like I haven’t been in a while. The place got ahold of me. The warmth, the breeze, just everything made me feel like I was so alive right there and then.
I’m going back tomorrow.
As I drove out I passed a fisherman returning to his vehicle with several nice trout he had caught. Now I’m craving some fresh trout!
Oh for me nature is where it's at...so serene, isn't it? I'm so glad you found your happy place...now the only thing you have to do is go as often as you can!
May you have a beautiful day...
Dump trucks of love, peace, light, joy and groovy hugs!!!
