New on here IDK if I can do this

I tend to overthink things in my personal life. I imagine its has to do with not being able to have what I really want and there's nothing I can do about it. That's all I can do right now.

Just a shot in the dark here, maybe I'll hit the target. I find not being sure of one's self and relying on outside accoutrements for self esteem causes a person to always question everything you do , say , or think. It can be exhausting. Looking for approval, second guessing yourself are all part of it. Pam

Idk if that's really it, maybe?? I was single along time and was in a relationship for 6 months. I didn't realize until it was too late how much i loved not doing it all alone anymore and realized living alone is lonely. We still hang out and he's what I need, it's just complicated. I have a great job and do well for myself. I don't have any anxiety when it comes to my career. I know I'm good at what I do. Also my daughter and I had a falling out and i haven't seen her or my grandson in 6 months. Its heart breaking.

Sorry to hear about the difficulties with your daughter. I have a 24 year old daughter so know how difficult it can be! How old is your daughter? I keep hoping mine will mature out of her surliness.

Thank you. She's 27.

living alone can be lonely at first, however you get used to it like anything and it all reverses to the point that you actually enjoy it and don't want anyone around lol..really..there are perks..remember, its also what we make of it right? getting a pet, if it is an option, can help that too..good luck

Instead try to engage ur over thinking habbit in puzzles, chess,or learning universal facts and reason behind them.overthinking on temporary thoughts always ends up with sorrow, hurtings.overthinking turns even joyful mind into stressful one.

Are you doing the best you can to help yourself?

Keep shaking the leaves from the tree to strive for new solutions. There is no such thing as a permanent solution. Stay open and available to experiment with suggestions given by others.

Sure are a lot of advice givers out there. Including me.

Individual differences always do apply.
