i can’t do this anymore

-sad-angel-
-sad-angel-

i am being completely honest... i just want to put a bullet through my head. i don’t want to do this anymore, i don’t see the point, i don’t even care...

i can’t be helped, i don’t want to be helped, i just don’t belong anywhere. i never should have even been born. all i do is cause harm. i’m so sorry. i don’t think anything can convince me otherwise.

Have you tried the national suicide prevention number? I believe it's 1-800-273-8255, please don't give up, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, you just have to find the right resources and there is help out there, that's why we are all on here--to help support each other in times of distress which is totally understandable but don't give up.

i have tried but i am always put on hold... and it won’t help, i will just be sent to a mental hospital...

The only reason you would get sent to a mental hospital is if you don't know what you are struggling with, the doctors in a mental hospital try to figure out what meds you need but you don't need that if you know that your struggle is depression, sounds like you need an affordable counselor, and/or psychiatrist, I don't know if you tried talking to your family but they may be able to help you with this.

If you have a psychiatrist you can call them right away and let them know your depression is getting worse and they can help you figure out what you need.

I used to do volunteer work with the mentally disabled (mostly down syndrome). Most of them lived in assisted living. They were the happiest people i met. I remember one girl who talked about a friendship bracelet she got from her grandma. She talked about it the whole time as if it were a diamond ring. I was humbled. By society standards I may have "more" going on for me (job, house, car, etc) but I was not as happy as those people. No where close..

They used to use the term "mentally retarded". So, it sounds like the brain didn't fully develop. I would wonder then if that meant that their brain didn't develop the part that is mean, cruel, gossipy, depressed, etc. Just a thought..

how is this helping this person wanting to commit suicide, great topic for another discussion....do you have any help lines or websites they can go to for crisis help....

Do you have a support network of family or friends?

What's wrong?...do you mind me asking how old you are?..What harm are you causing?..

I’m sorry you feel this way. Do you have family or support? Please reach out. I’m sending huge hugs your way!!!

I know the feeling and I know saying “it gets better” never works, especially when people use that to disregard your feelings in a way, but I just want you to know that even though we don’t know each other im here to talk if you think it might possibly help

I hear your in crisis and crying out for help....and you don't need to hear about anything else but getting help for your self....your pain and your pain alone is valid...side tracking what your going through with how bad others have it in life is doing you no help....not when it's you that should be addressed right now....this web site talks about suicide and suicide prevention....theswordmovie.com/resources/

You don't need to do this to yourself...and you can't see it now...but the ripple effect is something you can't imagine....fight this....call the numbers....nobody is going to judge you or lock you up....if you need to go into urgent care though....go....you may feel this way now...but tomorrow... or next week....you may feel completely different....If I would have ended my life when I felt like you did.....I would never have found a world that does have love, and beauty, and a future for me.....everyone deserves to be loved....you are worth loving....please get help....

Hi sad-angel no one is going to try and convince you of anything here but this is what I think. There are very few people who can't be helped but depression can cause many to think like that as there is nothing new here. The trick is to remember that you can't trust depression thoughts so you have to rely on others either professionals or loved ones to do what they consider best for you.

You have to decide for yourself whether you are going for life or death. If the latter then that is your right at the end of the day but it is very sad when someone does kill themselves. Choosing the former means that you will try everything and give yourself every chance to be happier. It is a different mindset.

You have nothing to lose though do you as you can always keep the other option as a sort of comfort blanket. I have done this for many years and obviously haven't taken it. x

Nice..

You posted here for a reason. I think you want help but maybe don't expect to find what you're looking for? Your life has value to the people in this group, and to those around you even if you can't see it right now. Have you told anyone in your family or friends how you feel? Call the hot line 1-800-273-8255. They don't always send you to a mental hospital, and in all honesty, would that be so bad? I've had a family member go when she became delusional after a traumatic event. They gave her the care she needed. She was there for a day or two, started getting counseling and seeing a psychiatrist, got meds she needed. It was the best thing that could have happened to her at that time. Honestly, why not try?

I too felt like this sad angel, I truly do understand the pain you are experiencing. It’s as if nothing makes sense and every thought and feeling leads to the same level of pain. Everywhere you turn there it is again and so why bother. There is a way beyond this pain. It’s not an elaborate plan, it doesn’t require extensive understanding. But the first place to start is with willingness. You see when your feeling hopeless it feels as if this is the only feeling that has merit. In fact other feeling have merit also. Be willing to explore some other feelings you may be having ones that can help you manage this hopelessness that is embodied within you. Thank you for sharing your pain here, please feel free to write me/here anytime. Let what we say here become part of your thoughts in a positive way because we all have had these very same struggles and we all manage these feelings just as you are. You my friend feel hopeless but you are NOT hopeless..we can all help you through this if you just become willing.

hallo, i too have a problem that seems unsolverable. there is one answer, waiting~~you call yourself angel, so you know your worth try writing me i've had enough too....ciley
