Whilst I watch tv I just look at it and not take it in. Like i dont know what is going on because I'm away with my thoughts and i dont take anything in. Anyone else like this?

Overthinking
Jason, I've been there many times. Absorbed in something on tv and all of a sudden
I realize my thoughts are back to issues in my life. It's the old subconscious mind trying
to interfere. Almost like putting on a radio station and getting that static interference.
After it becomes annoying enough, we switch stations. Same with our brain. What
sometimes can help, is moving physically. Maybe getting up to get a drink of water etc
just to break that moment of distraction. Freshen your mind by taking in some deep slow
breaths and exhaling slowly. This may help in clearing your mind and allowing you to
absorb what you are watching or even reading. xx
Yes, can be tiredness/fatigue.
Same. Once I was "reading" a book like that for an hour. I flipped the pages and all. And suddenly I realised that I had no idea what was going on with the plot. I was in my stupid thoughts, and my eyes were just looking at the words...
In this case I like to get up and wash my face with cold water, my brain turns on again.
Yes, I watch and do not absorb anything that is beneficial to my peace of mind. I watch for something funny, and I can't even break a smile. I need to exercise more, for sure.
Yes all the time I’m doing it now
