I have a question. I just got a call from my family dr and she said dr would like to see me from following up appointment, what does that mean? I just had my kidney biopsy done on July 16 and he wanted to see me July 22. Is this something to be worry about?? Please help. And I’m still feeling sore and pain.

im not a doctor so i am not sure, but sometimes they like to share the results with you in office regardless of how bad it is, just in case theres some things to go over like a recommended diet change or something simple like a medication adjustment and questions you may have. im not sure whats going on, but it could be more simple than your anxiety is making you think.

im sorry, i know it’s difficult. but your mind has already told you the worst things it could be, so do your best to think of some of the simplest things, and try to push your mind away from all the bad.. if that makes sense?

Trying is good :) im sorry you’re in pain and well you cant hide from thinking of the outcome, its part of our illness, but you can try to push to be more positive about what it may be

After a biopsy there is typically an appointment to review results and plan.

Try and stay focused until you get to the appointment.

What you know right now is you had a biopsy to check for something. The results will be given to you along with an action plan. This plan could be simple or involved depending on results.

Take it one step at a time. They must have told you reason biopsy was necessary. So, I'm sure a lot is circling around in your head. Unfortunately all you can do is wait.

I hope things work out ok.

ehh22, I didn't know you were having blood cells show up under a microscope.

I've had that for more years than I could count. Both a Hematologist as well as

a Urologist have said that this happens with many people for different reasons.

Even exercising too vigorously can cause that to happen. They take a wait and see

approach. Sometimes the cells are small, sometimes large. Please stay positive

We can't live with "what if". You did your part in having the biopsy done, now it's

up to the doctor to see you through this. You are not alone with this issue. There

are many people who have it w/o even knowing. Be happy that you are taking care

of the matter. I'm here for you. xx

Thanks soo my dear! Thanks for reminding me that I’m not alone. Yeh it’s kinda scary because I couldn’t see with my own eye an can only be seen under microscope. When I think about it , it makes me feel scared . But , I can’t do anything. As long as I see no blood within my own naked eyes. That will freaked me out.

Me too...I like that I can't see it. However there are people who do see

it and it still turns out to be nothing to be concerned about. So we have to

trust in our doctors and believe in ourselves that we can do this. :) xx

Yes dear! I know right, there are ppl that do see and still turn out to be nothing. But for me can only be see under microscope maybe it’s serious !😪

But there is nothing we can do about it until you get the results from the doctor.

He will tell you what direction to take. Ask yourself this question...."is worrying

about it doing me any good?" "is worrying about it going to change the outcome?"

The answer is "No" to both questions and so we need to stay strong so that whatever the answer may be, you will be able to handle it. (of course, with our help

and support) Because we care about each other. Breathe xx
