I feel like I need professional help, but at the same time there are days where I feel completely normal and it makes me think that I might not need help after all. Is this all due to hormones, or am I really experiencing anxiety?

You should seek professional help. Knowledge is power so you gotta know what the problem is to be able to fight. Have a pleasant time and remember you got us.
Fatima_sh, you are experiencing normalcy in the ups and downs of people with panic attacks and anxiety. It happens in many forms and sometimes without notice. I suggest that you focus on the good times. Have you made a journal of what you do that makes the good happen verses the negative times? if you can discover what it is that you do to trigger or cause of the anxiety is step one, finding out the best method for you to remain positive is step 2, and of course step 3 is to try to maintain the positive. hugs
I would say to seek professional help to at least make sure what you are experiencing is within a healthy range of the ups and downs. If it ends up not being what you need, you lost nothing from seeing a professional but at least you have more of an answer.
Hi Fatima_sh, hormones could be a big part of it. If it was me, I would play it on the safe side and ask a doctor or therapist which ever you feel comfortable with and see what they say. It may be something simple as learning something to help you in your daily life. Everyone has ups and downs, that Is normal. You are not alone. Let us know how things are going. Hugs to you my friend.
