Not yet, I'm thinking to seeing one but, in my country there are not much therapist especially in city where I live. That's why I join this group, to find somebody to talk to, perhaps I'll get better if I can talk to someone that facing same problem

What's wrong why don't you feel well with yourself

Everything about me is wrong I think, there are so many reason but most of it is loneliness. Since elementary school I move a lot because of my family job, so I don't really have close friend since then. I really want to have a good friend that I can talk, talk about everything, so I can share the weight of my problem with them. My parents is not a supportive one, I never talk to them they too busy, even if I have a chance I'm not comfortable to talk to them. The worst thing is toxic relationship and being rejected most of the time. Perhaps my root problem is loneliness after all, I try to comfort myself, change appearance, traveling, but none of these thing can helping me out

Good relationships/friendships are rare these days especially since people refuse to put in the work and get to know each other and most only care about appearances, maybe it's not your time yet to find the one.

Yeah, perhaps you right, someday I'll find that the one. In the mean time I must focus curing myself first. Anyway I'm an introvert do you have any suggestion how am I supposed to do with it? I want to change to be better. Well thank you for replying it's good to have somebody to talk and share, you're a good person.

Lol, so we have something in common. Why you like so much being an introvert? For me it's like something I should change, or maybe it's what people around want me to change. I always caught up in an awkward situation, especially when talking with girl, that sucks, it's hard to make conversations.

I love having my alone time, being around people stress me and take too much energy, what don't you like about being an introvert?? Well im a girl and we're having a great conversation together

That's a good poin, I do feel that way especially when they ask me to tell some story somehow I get sweat a lot. Well, being an introvert makes me feel lonely sometime, I thought we human can't live by it self, we need to socialize, I really is want to talk to someone that I don't know in bar, make friends it looks fun in movie haha. Uhm yes it's true but trust me if you met me in person, I can’t even talk and share a lot to you.

in reply toDwi94

Lol movies make everything look easy, and most times a lot of people are nervous just like you even when they don't show it.

Yes! That makes perfect sense. I remember when I first started going out again after being agoraphobic for so long it was like the world changed. Everyone was on social media and taking selfies. Everyone was looking at their phones. People don’t know how to hold a simple conversation anymore. All they care about is how they look and how many people “like” it. I thought I was going crazy. Glad to see others notice it as well.

You feel the same way right? It's really intimidating somehow.

There's lots of advantages to being an introvert - it is intimidating to go out in public and social situations but you're probably a thinker and dreamer and have some great ideas to share! I agree with CallmeDanielle, it is hard these days to make friends because everyone seems so involved online. What are some activities and things you really enjoy doing or reading about? If you join a group (either online or in person) about that topic you have an instant connection to build on - so you might start there to find something that will bring you joy ;-) Another important thing to do is to think about the things that are already good in your life -- there are probably alot of things that you take for granted (I know I do at least!) that are really bringing you joy but you don't really consider it anymore. Hopefully some of that helps you feel a little better!

Thank you for your kind words, you're right, being an introvert is not that bad, I just need to get over with negativity within me. I need to find a group that makes me better and feels good about myself like this one, people here seems kind, I think joining this group is one of my right step. Despite thinking about negative I'll try to think positive. Thank you for your support, it means a lot to me.
