On Celexa 20 for 5 days. Tired nausea tearful no motivation. Will it get better. This has been long ride. Want to get back to self. Support please

try it for two weeks at least...see how you feel after two weeks and then consult your psychiatrist. hang in there!

I had simular start up symptoms, and the weird physical sensations. I talk to my Doc and she adjusted the ramping up schedule; I ended up cutting 7 pills in half and ating ~10mg a day for 2 weeks then taking whole pills after.

I'm sorry that's happening to you. Maybe you could join a support group? I can probably help with that if you would like. Many people on here know where you're coming from. Have as blessed of a day as possible....

No it will just get worse if you keep taking that drug bc it is an SSRI which is a downer , you may even be developing mild serotonin syndrome

Most Drs. say to give new meds a 6 week trial period. I went thru dozens of meds and knew sometimes within 3 days that they weren't for me. Made me sick and upset.

I hear you. The old me had flaws. This new me is some one I don't recognize.

They told me to wait for 6 weeks before seeing any results, I saw no difference till all of a sudden the 6th week came and like a miracle I was like new, like I never had anxiety. I think Celexa is great takes a bit to get there but I’ve been normal since and been off it for gee lost count, couple years? I weaned myself off 6 months later and nothing changed, I’m cured...
