Sometimes we just need a day. Just don’t let it linger. Take the day, let yourself rest and regroup and tomorrow get up and get moving. Things in motion stay in motion.
I think I am going to take the day. I made myself go for a bike ride and I don’t feel better and that’s ok. Some days the depression just doesn’t want to budge.
When we have anxiety and/or depression we lose the ability to listen to our body and trust what we feel because we always think it means something more. We question if we are spiraling again or if we’re just tired, are we anxious or actually sick. There’s nothing wrong with taking a day to rest. It’s hard work getting through days the way we do. Enjoy your restful day, tomorrow is a new day, tomorrow you can get up, and start fresh!
try doing yoga or working out or even reading a book. Anything to distract the mind goes along way
this is important....and most needed....it's okay to not only put self care on the priority list....it's ok to put self care at the top of it
