Hey guys, by the way thank you to everyone who responded to my last post. All replies were really helpful, but today I took my permit test and passed! I’m 22 and I’ve had my permit before but had too much anxiety to even attempt to take the driving test so I let it expire, but as time went on I feared attempting to take it more in more partly because of
my guilt of waiting so long and because test taking and high stress situations make me blank out where even the most common sense question can be difficult to answer.. but I took that step finalllly. I’m trying to take this anxiety thing one day at a time and accomplish small things and feel damn proud about it too no matter how small it seems to anybody else. ☺️ Anyone else have any accomplishment they’ve had recently while controlling their anxiety in the process?

Well done!!! That's a really big achievement and a significant milestone. Gives you more independence and more potential job opportunities etc so please feel really proud of yourself 👍👍👍 how are you going to celebrate? X
Thank you sooo much, I told myself I should’ve gotten it a while ago but I’m keeping those thoughts away, I’m not gonna let them ruin a good day lol. I can’t wait to feel a lot more free being able to get myself around and not have to rely not anybody else. I’ll probably go out to eat or something, food is always a nice reward 😂😋
Aw thanks once again and yes yes of course ☺️ next step, drivers test in September lol
You have done well whatever you say, you retook your Driving Ticket, you passed, great celebrate you are mobile once more.
I can relate, I took my Marine Power Boat Ticket and associated Marine Radio Certificate and passed, even though I have a short term memory disorder and I am sixty eight years old. It gave me the confidence to move on hopefully to a new interest. So now I can sail a ten metre Power boat, up to seven miles out to sea. A challenge. will lead to more confidence. It was a stiff course to take, now I will go for my Skippers and Radar etc. Not forgetting how to maintain the craft if we purchase one
Wow that is a huugggeee accomplishment, kudos to you ☺️ you’re just breaking barriers at that point if you even suffer from short term memory loss so thanks for sharing, that’s really inspiring. I feel a lot more confident too and its giving me this push to just do so much more.. I just wanna do everything lol
