I struggle with depression and generalized anxiety disorder. On good days, even if it doesn't feel "good", I get out and do things. My question is, besides caffeine (my personal stimulant of choice) - What gets you moving forward in life?

I relate to your post. (I also knit, btw.) What keeps me going is knowing that keeping going is the answer to my anxiety. I believe that I will keep going long enough to be through with it.
I also relate, I try to be around people as I always isolate. I always try to get out of bed and shower and dress. I sew when I feel like helping others. I know if I exercise I will feel better too. Blessings to you!
