What do people do to get energy? I am exhausted all the time and want to go to bed around 5pm sometimes. I take different medications for depression and anxiety, I don’t know if that contributes to my exhaustion.

I was on meds for seven years and they make you so tired. When I get home I can't wait to go to bed and I sleep all weekend sometimes. I'm not on meds anymore but being overweight with no exercise doesn't help with energy. I just keep going because I have to. It sucks.

I heard beet juice is good for getting energy and protien bars but i know how you feel, i still do get tired and i think its from my meds

I'm not sure what your taking, but it may be a contributor to your tiredness. Also not sure what your routine is like if work is mentally draining for you or physically. But if you need a nap take a nap, your body may need it. If you feel you need the energy that bad drink coffee or green tea. Personally I make an effort to sleep around 8pm or 9ish the latest, wake up and exercise around 5am. At first it sucked but as I made it a habit I found I would get some pretty good energy from that routine.

I can totally relate! It's so hard for me to wake up in the mornings and by 7 PM when I get home from work I just want to go to bed! I'm actually trying to stay up a bit later because I think I am sleeping too much, and that can make you tired. I'm also trying (not very successfully) to take a quick walk in the morning to get energy. I take a walk at lunch time as well. I also drink a lot of coffee. I'll be interested in what other have to say!
