eating and anxiety

Has anyone had their anxiety go away after they eat. I've been noticing mine will subside after I eat a meal. I tried looking it up and can't find anything on it. I'm wondering if I have something else going on.

I have noticed it getting a bit better after a meal. I'd guess it's because you're giving the body something to do other than spew adrenaline. Also, eating engages our senses, which is one of the ways to shift our focus away from anxiety.

Wonder if hypoglycemia might be involved. The symptoms of low blood sugar can be identical to those of anxiety. Check with your doc.

I too have noticed that eating can temporarily or even completely stall my anxiety. I believe it’s because your body is letting you focus on something else. Something enjoyable. I mean eating your favorite food can make your day and want to make you dance lol!

Do not eat your feelings! That is bad
