Eating

I used to eat a lot of food, but last year I started to feel nauseous around food. I thought I was just sick, but I still haven't returned to my old eating habits. I stopping eating breakfast and lunch for about a month last year, but I started eating again because I knew it wasn't healthy. I still skip meals sometimes when the nausea gets the best of me. I don't think this is normal, does anyone else have this problem?

Hi I don't suffer with this but not sure about others. Your best bet is to see your doctor to be on the safe side. x

I also have an issue with this at times. When I am having a bad day, food is the last thing I want to look at. I do make myself eat. I have had bad acid reflux for the last couple of years and this anxiety thing that has just come up really makes it worse. Talk to your doctor, but I was told that this is something that can happen with anxiety. The saddest part of this is I love to cook, and now I just can't seem to be bothered.

Me too. Sometimes even the smell of food makes me sick. My co workers are always making fun of my eating habits. They don't know it's from depression. I just laugh it off, but it really upsets me.

I felt the same way a couple months ago when I was going through a bad episode of anxiety, but it eventually came back.
