Hello everyone.

Just wanted to know if anyone’s tried Abilify for depression, or anxiety. My Dr added it to pristiq which I’m currently on. Thank you. SAMSON

I’m on it and it has helped me

Yes, I have. Sent me to the hospital within two weeks of taking it. One side effect is actually psychosis, wtf? Believe it!

Omg that not nice

They change the meds now ?

in reply toElfje

Yeah they changed it right away. I took others for seven years and then quit all of them one year ago. I feel alot better without them.

I wish I could

But I just started up

Just benzo

I refuse serogeul or others

Because I have anxiety and adhd and ptsd so heavy but the rest I fight

But no no other meds

They did ones and traumatized me

A huge doses off effexor I thought omg what is happening to me

So never again

The psychiatrist had see me just for 10 min offered me effexor

So nope never again

in reply toElfje

Mine were antipsychotics which I didn't need but took forever major risk for extreme weight gain, diabetes and heart disease so I stopped. My insane moment back in the day was situational with an extreme trauma with my child so I knew I wasn't normally psychotic but when something bad happens to your young child it's hard to stay sane. Crazy at the moment was better I guess 😏

I had Abilify in addition to Prozac for a few months right after my mother died. At first it made me kind of hyper and anxious, but the doctor decreased the dosage. After that it seemed to help for a while. I had trouble getting it because of my insurance, though, and I’m not on it anymore. I think after I’d been on it a while, it didn’t make as much difference.

For some it helps

But some are more anxiety

They told my neighbor is bipolen two but more hypomania not the taken ambilify

But more like activan and solian. That are both for anxiety like the activan

Solian also and depression

Than you have olanzapine but stronger and serogeul

Last year my psychiatrist prescribed abilify to take with prozac. I'm up to 5mg of Abilify now. My foot started shaking really bad so my doctor added propranolol. So far the combination of prozac, Abilify and propranolol is working out for me. I have struggled with weight gain though and hair loss. How is Abilify working for you?

Hair loss due to the abilify? My dr prescribed risperidone and Prozac. I am petrified to take the risperidone. And thr prozac is causing me to be more anxious than I already am...
