Does anyone one else have anxiety attacks but does not feel their heart beat? I started with an anxiety attack but the whole time I don't feel my heart it feels empty. I took half of a Xanax I'm calm now but I will feel empty inside.

I experience anxiety attacks but I’m not sure I can relate to your specific experience.

I never get racing or skipping heartbeats — just waves of nausea and anxiety that wash over me and then go away fairly quickly. It’s a feeling of extreme illness though. There seem to be so many different ways to experience anxiety. Does this sound familiar to anyone else?

No, mine is opposite. I take a daily antianxiety, not when it attacks.
