Questions for CBD Oil

Hey there! I was wondering if CBD oil really helps with severe general anxiety, social anxiety and depression? Does anyone here take it? And does it help alot and stays long term? I also ask does it cause liver damage? I read it does. But by a high dosage of it. Like how much is to much if your taking it everyday consistently? My anxiety is very severe that meds haven't really helped that much. But I read alot of success stories of CBD oil towards people with alot of anxiety. Thank you!

I must tell you about my experience of cbd oil because all over the Internet they are saying it's wonderful stuff but for me it was one of the worst things ever to happen to me

I bought some cbd hemp oil from Holland&Barrett I lost my appetite for a week and I was severely depressed I felt like throwing myself off a cliff and I have never had depression like this before I had only had circumstantial depression

I took it on 13th April this year and I am still depressed although not as bad as I was

Only the UK NHS website warns of it causing deppression or suicidal thoughts

I'm sure most people will be fine with it but people should know there is a dark side to this stuff also it is serotogenic so can contribute to mild serotonin syndrome which is horrible and not mild at all

Thanks for this. I was wondering about this oil. I’m sorry you feel this way! Maybe you need a med change? I just had Wellbutrin added last year. It did wonders. But I swear I’m feeling HORRIBLE again!!!! It’s not normal! I have nothing to feel so bad about.

I had a gummy sweet with 5% and I felt great but as soon as it wore off I had really ugh anxiety and bad thoughts. Maybe it was too much for my first go.

Ohhh gosh. I chucked them away.

Yeah my family brought up the gummies too I thought I'd try them. But I'll have to do more research on it. People are different, it may work for me or not. But I pray you feel better! Thanks for sharing your experience.

It has keep me breathing for over 2 years. I do have to increase my dose when life increase my anxiety. To much anxiety and I crash into depression. I have done hundreds of hours of on line research and have not found a single independent study which states it has any negative effect on the body. In fact just the opposite is true. Don't be misinformed / mislead by a 'article'. Big Pharma pays to spread misinformation as Hemp and Marijuana, (Cannabis) can and is replacing many of their prescription drugs.

I really want to try it again but at a smaller dose. I too have heard amazing things. Hence the reason I still want to try again but as it caused me such anxiety I’m just a little cautious. I have anxiety nearly every day and i would love a little peace from it. I’ve had times when I don’t have it and read dr Weekes books which have helped so so much. Just would like a breather from it

in reply to livingote

Oh ok so that's good its helping then! And yeah I've seen articles say no harm to the body and other articles says yes it harms the body with the cbd oil. So it's kinda back and forth which confused me. But yeah I've heard more people, not articles. Say it's great! So thank you for sharing your experiences! I pray you feel better and say feeling good!

There are many kinds of cbd oil and everyone reacts differently. I would think you have to speak or read online to someone who is knowledgeable about the subject. There are companies that are quite reputable which you could contact. For me it was a waste of money. I'll tell you what does work . Facing your anxiety and working your way through it. Anxiety isn't some external force that attacks. We are our anxiety. It comes from within. That is how it gets you at your weakest point and seems to come out of the blue.

Going through therapy , following a structured program , meditation , are the things that will help you and once you find your way through will be a lasting solution to your problem .It is hard work and not an overnight answer but well worth it. Good luck , Pam

Hi Pam.

I’ve had anxiety for over 22 years. I’ve done therapy for 4 years. Then started again hoping to get to the bottom of it. But couldn’t, There isn’t a reason I can think of why I have this. I’ve faced my anxiety and taken it head on. I’ve accepted the anxiety. I’ve read and researched it. Read more books and over and over, it is still here living inside me. I have months when I’m fine and months when it is constantly there. I’m really trying to have better life. I meditate also. I get up. I go to work. I take anxiety with me like I don’t have it. I live a full life with it. But it is still hanging over me in some way and sometimes makes my day a painful distant one.

Thanks Pam for your words. 🌺

I think there are many causes for anxiety other than the general form of free floating anxiety. You may be experiencing something more complicated than the anxiety I experienced. This is one reason it's so difficult to reply to people. My experience is limited. May be your anxiety is caused by a physical problem or a hormonal imbalance, a thyroid malfunction. If you feel you have done your best than look to other sources for it's origin . The important thing is not to blame yourself or give up. There must be an answer. The more you reach out the likelier you will be to find it. Anyway that's what I pray for. Pam

Hello Pam. Yes I agree. Maybe a number of things that need to be checked.

I thank you for your words.

Hopefully soon things will settle.

I’ve had a few things happen like moving home and sorting the new out All takes it toll I guess. Have a lovely evening. 🌺
