Celexa

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Celexa. My therapist is going to recommend it to my doctor for me. I already take 4 medications and I'm hesitant to take another on top of all of that but she thinks it would help my depression and anxiety.

Thanks for responding. I currently take abilify, trazadone for sleep, Gabapentin, Oxcarbazepine and Amlodipine. My therapist thinks I need the Celexa for the depression.

I thought abilify was used to treat depression?? Gabapentin for anxiety and depression. I have taken celexa before for a year or two I don’t remember getting great results. None of these pills really cure anything. It may help. Good luck

I've been using Citalopram (Generic version of Celexa) for the last 4 years for Anxiety and depression. It's not a cure all happy pill as we all wish for! But it definitely helps me. I'm on 40mg per day which is the max. allowable dose. I started with 10mg and kept increasing until I got the best results. Wishing you the best!
