Being single on a day that celebrates love was depressing for me today! At work all I saw was men purchasing flowers etc and it made me jealous! My dating life SUCKS and when I'm really into a man; he ends up disappointing me. I have dated so many men that dating isn't exciting anymore; its like a chore! Just get it over with already!!!!!

I know what you mean as I soooo can relate! Ugh! I felt the same way today. It sucked for sure and everyone talking about their Valentine plans etc. Totally over it! Hang in there I feel you

Behind each bouquet of flowers is a story and they aren’t all mushy love stories fill with hugs, kisses and best friends. There was a man talking in the drs office today. He was saying how he got his wife of 50 years flowers. All she said was “they’re nice”. No thank yous, no hugs, no gushing over their beauty. Just “they’re nice”. He was obviously disappointed, then I thought that after 50 years there must be some story there.... She probably would prefer he make dinner, do the dishes or vacuum! lol

Before I finally found my prince charming I had so many bad dating experiences that i gave serious consideration to playing for the other team lol

Hi Beauty, my 25y.o. daughter said the same thing last night and yet wrote me

this morning that it was a good evening. She made herself a steak, a glass of wine,

lit a candle and just enjoyed being with herself. Sometimes we allow being alone

to get in the way of just enjoying who we are. It's not always roses on the other side.
