It’s so hard to get moving. I just dusted my bedroom and feel exhausted! I think that’s probably all I can manage today. It’s frustrating. Also ibs is acting up hooray. Something else to drive me nuts. Did meet with new psychiatrist yesterday and I like her a lot. She’s up on the very latest developments and is more than happy to work as part of a team with my therapist and regular doc. We did some tests that may help clarify things for me🙏
How do all of you handle the exhaustion. It just seems relentless.

I have to go back to a physically demanding job on March 1. The thought of it make me want to throw up. I have to work too for a few more years so I sympathize with you very much. We’ll hang in there together. 😊
When I’m working I’m so physically tired at the end of the day I usually fall asleep right after dinner in the lazyboy. I usually get laid off right before Christmas and as I was on a downhill slide already going from lots of activity to nothing really hit me hard. I’m working with a dr and a therapist. I have meds to help me sleep right now or I would be too anxious. I try to keep busy doing little things during the day but housework etc just makes me so tired and anxious. It’s very cold where I am too so I’m not going out there🙂. I’m trying to take Pekeneeses advice and take a short nap during the day. It really helped today. Maybe if you could find a quiet corner at lunch you could try it. Also if noise is a problem try the headspace app. I’m finding it very good. But chores I’m still in need of any motivational suggestions!
My doctors are working on it. I’m super sensitive to a lot of them. I do have to take thyroid because of an operation and vitamin d because I’m very deficient but I can’t even take a regular multi vitamin because it drives my ibs nuts. And coffee—-forget it not happenin! I follow the FODMAP diet so I’m limited there. Put anxiety and depression on top of all that and it gets a bit much at times. Sometimes I just need to vent and find out how other people handle things. I know many here have the same or more problems and I feel I can talk here.
That's tough! Keep pushing though. We're all here to support you!
spinner,im 75 new the thing ive lernt is to do things you feel up to doing, being tired is body saying have a rest,so you should stop and refresh.and carry on like that.as long as you can.so that's it spinner take it easy .see you peek
Thanks. I’m 68 so I’m getting up there too! It’s hard for me to tell what’s exhaustion from exertion and exhaustion from stress and anxiety. I guess it doesn’t make much difference does it. I do find myself slipping off sometimes. Maybe I shouldn’t fight it like you say.
