derealization & depression

so ive had both derealization and depression for years, and lately its just been making me feel so mentally sick. the feeling of not being real and feeling like im floating from the derealization and the feeling that life is pointless etc. from the depression have made me feel a way that i cant really describe, its kind of like i feel mentally nauseous. its such a horrible feeling and i was wondering if anyone out there can relate at all and if u have any tips for coping or grounding.

Not really felt that way my self, are you taking medication if so perhaps it is a side effect or something, if you are not taking any form of medication perhaps you need to talk to your doctor and see what they have to say about it all, good luck let us all know how you are getting on

I am so sorry you are struggling. Are you able to see a therapist that would have techniques for you? Or do you take a medication you need to be having a discussion with your doctor about?

For me, I use tapping, to help with grounding. I tap my fingers together in a rhythm or tap my leg.

I find great healing in pressing into worship, prayer and finding the truths in the word of God for my life. I have had a complete breakthrough, from identifying the things that were robbing my peace.

I pray that you find clarity and peace and a grounding in a way you have never had before!
