yeh all the time lol dw. Literally like ur finna have a stroke or somat LOL (not funny) but yeh thats how id describe it if i was being extreme, but yano on a realistic level its more like a feeling of lightheadedness, dizziness, even ringin in the ears simultaneously as the sensations in my head. Its all anxiety, ive come to understand its worry and stress, just sucks when ur sat still doing nothing and it hits you start thinking Ok im dying or something lol.

Lol yes this is exactly how I feel and sometimes I think I am gonna have or stroke or like pass out or something my head feel all tingly and foggy and I hate it followed by the dizziness but I guess I’m glad to know I’m not the only one feeling this way even though it’s not a good thing but I’m not crazy after all

My thing at the moment steph, i convince myself im not breathing or getting oxygen to the right side of my brain or lungs or yano that whole side. i mean if i wasn't i'd fucking know about it right? id be out cold needing medical attention ASAP. but when it hits, i can't tell myself anything else other than the most dramatic things lmao its a fucker anxiety it really is, your mind becomes ur own worst enemy, everybody is different, comes and goes in different ways phases etc. :) you'll be fine

Yes exactly I try and calm myself and say ok of something was really wrong I’d be dead on the floor or something but in that moment of panic I can’t tell myself nothing other then oh shit ima die right here right now ima hit the floor and die and then at the end of the night I’m here I have stupid vertigo so when I get dizzy and then my anxiety hits forget about it I’m a hot mess

I 100% agree with @Ashm19.

This is something I’ve been dealing with for years. The lightheadedness...dizziness...ringing in the ears. I’ll even add...At its worst..I get disoriented...I tremble...and then, of course, I panic.

In the moment, I convince myself I’m having a stroke or a heart attack or any other serious event that will end in my death. Guess what? I’m still here. I’m still alive. I have to remind myself of this all the time. Don’t get me wrong....I still have these sensations and I still have the panic attacks. I learn more info everyday on how to cope and compose myself through these episodes.

I hope this helps.

Anxiety Panic stress do wierd things with your body and head

Hi Stephanie - some folk according to webmd.com in an article Home remedies for tinnitus have issues with foods such as coffee cola tea with caffeine, salt, and aspirin which makes tinnitus worse. Other drugs which can cause tinnitus are ibuprofen and some anti depressants. If you are on medications you can check the side effects on drugs.com in the AZ listings, and download or read a patient leaflet with side effects and instructions for taking the drug. Other causes for tinnitus may be connected with a cold or ear infection. Avoid smoking and drinking as these can damage the sensitive skin

in your tissues and create the problem. reference.com has a good list of websites which might give you more information. Tinnitus may be a sign of high blood pressure, so on your next health check may be have BP taken. Hope you can rule out any other contributory factors, before accepting that it is part of your mental health condition.

I don’t think it was said maliciously, just to try to be helpful.high blood pressure is easily treated anyway.

It’s nice to know things to avoid with anxiety or things that can help.

Thank you for this, that’s really helpful and nice to know what to avoid and some causes.

Had a really trouble with stress related problems and saw a GP who informed me that severe stress can affect your total body system and make you physically ill, as well as

mentally ill. When the nervous system cannot cope, with the stress, and certain triggers

such as difficult relationships and anxiety situations watching someone going down hill - then to stop overload, a tranquiliser can be used, to dumb down the anxiety responses. Defining anxiety depression and what approach to take has to be determined by a GP. Some GPs aren't particularly interested and may not follow you up. Some don't tell you to avoid those people who might upset you, and to avoid stressful situations as far as you can. Glad you are have the right advice.

It’s so crazy cuz for a couple months I thought I was going up hill and getting better then all of sudden fear takes over me and my stomach issues return along with the not sleeping and fear of diying trying to get back to where I was which was doing better

in reply to Stephanie89

Yes - this is a frequent type of reaction to stress on your mind. Sleep deprivation

I have found has worsened symptoms. We all want as natural methods of controlling our anxiety, and physical symptoms but this is not always possible.

What drug suits one person may not help another. As mentioned some drugs might have side effects which affect a few people. If your stomach is upset and you get other symptoms such as nervous stomach and intestinal problems,

feeling tired and unable to function normally, may be you should go back to your

doctor to seek an alternative drug. I found after years of insomnia, I have a sleep problem. I take sleeping pills which help my nerves, so feeling rested, don't experience the same fears and phobias as before. Hope you find a sympathetic doctor who can find the right treatment for you. If you know there might be other factors that are triggering these feelings, then specialist cognitive behavioural therapy, may help. If these underlying problems stem from some trauma - then this needs diagnosis by a specialist.
