Okay so my pain from my ear infection has gone away i have just a little pain so I suppose it’s getting better compared to what i was before but during the infection my hearing got kind of bad not to bad just like plugged or muffled is that normal for ear infection does it go away on its own ? Pls help me !!!

It is normal. The infection is getting cleared up and the ear is still draining into the Eustachian tube. It will eventually go away.

I hear you. Im going through the same thing.

It's day 16 and my ear is still clogged!

The Dr said the fluid should reabsorb into the body. Im on decongestant and nasal spray And steroid tablets. It's gotten better but very slight. I had an upper respiratory infection and strep that I both healed from but the fluid has remained. It's very annoying and uncomfortable. I sometimes feel pops but it near fully clears! Ugh!! My friend had this problem and her Dr flushed her ear out w warm water. Im doing that next😭

hey...i used beconase spray from the chemist to clear my ears. It does take a little while but will work. When mine block it can sometimes take a couple of weeks. I lay on a warm hot water bottle too.... Seems to ease it. I try to use sterimar nasal spray on a daily basis to keep all the tubes clear. It's horrible when it happens, i get quite down with it as you just don't feel right. Hope it clears up for you soon. X

Oh I know! It's really annoying. I dont have the infection either just fluid. Alot of people swear by herbal remedies but I dont want to mess with it. Good luck to you. I hope your ear clears soon

It really is, it gets me so down i hate it and I don’t even wanna mess with it honestly lol i just hope it clears up and doesn’t stay like this thanks for the words 🙏🏻

When my ear clogged in the beginning I heard echos bc it was clogged so much and I couldnt hear myself talk!

It is definitely depressing. I have to take it one day at a time bc I have no choice. Tomorrow I have to call the dr about the warm water pressuring clearing thing bc I cant take this anymore.

i know!!! It's all consuming!! Hate it!! You know it is going to go away but that's not the point!!!!
