Just left the urgent care to get check out again in they found blood in my pee. And I just looked it up and it say

bladder cancer and am having a panic attack he told me to come back in 6 weeks am so unhappy happy right now

If it's going to drive you up a wall for 6 weeks, see another doctor soon and get this matter straightened out. At least you'll have peace of mind.

I've lost track of the number of people on here who have googled their symptoms, picked out the worst one, and can't get it out of their heads. That's rule number one for me: NEVER google your symptoms! Take your health concerns to a doctor, and let him or her evaluate you. That will settle it, and you can sleep peacefully.

I had trace amount of blood in my urine last time I went to doctor. Ended up being nothing. It can happen frequently. I know it’s hard to resist google, but hopefully your doctor will give you more information soon. Good luck!

And what did your say about the blood in your urine? Am scared and am panicking am thinking the worse right now

No more tests. The doctor did not discuss it much. I was in for another issue. Nothing they were concerned about it.

Try not to worry too much, I know it’s hard not to! There are many minor things that cause it to happen. It is doubtful that it could be cancer.

Just FYI ... April of last yr I had surgery to remove scar tissue that wrapped around my urethra tube & kinked it - my kidney was only functioning at 10% when the scar tissue was removed 100% recovery and a 55 fluid/ toxins lost in 4wks...... just a thought .. BUT, u need to see a urologist ASAP !! Just focus on what you need to do and stop googling things!!! I had to do that and it helped just ensure your urologist is highly recommended and if you have insurance in your network .. prayers & keep us posted

So sorry that they found that blood in your pee I know its easier said than done but looking up things online will greatly increase your anxiety. Let’s think about less severe things maybe its a bladder infection. Try drinking more water and cranberry juice they also have AZO cranberry pills you can get OTC to help sending you hugs take care. Deep breathing.

It is usually a sign of urinary tract infection which can be cleared 👆 with antibiotics. Never Google symptoms. Can scare us to 💀. 😔. Please go to another health care facility!

Yes.. It makes your ♥ race. Especially at night. I have severe "fight or flight mode " all the time due to my ex boyfriend narcissistic abuse 11 years. Been free 8 months. My mind struggles with the silence. I do understand fear and anxiety issues. Keep in touch 🤗

Did they test you for a urinary tract infection? There are many things that could cause blood in urine that are not as scary as cancer. Like someone said drink more water try to increase your vitamin c intake like someone mentioned cranberry

They tested me for a UTI and said I don’t have one out put I will drink more water and take vitamins c and cranberry too thank u

Hi! I have health anxiety and I tend to attribute symptoms to fatal or incurable diseases. What has helped is to realize that the body feels in many ways and has many symptoms all the time and rarely mean something is wrong. I have peed blood before, turned out being a UTI. It could be a simple UTI, it could be many things, and most likely isn't something dangerous. Hope I helped

I thought it was a UTI because I had one last month but he said not UTI so now I have to wait for him to send it to the lab and try to find out going on am praying is nothing

If they feared cancer, they would not have asked you to wait 6 weeks. I’ve had kidney stones that cause blood in the urine. There are other causes. Take heart.

Please Please - sometimes a confirmed diagnoses is best - did the special care doctor confirm bladder cancer!! Hey some times spots of blood in the urine may just be kidney infection. Seek God's Council

I’ve also had kidney stones that cause blood to show up in urine tests ! Once I had laser surgery to break it up , second time I past it myself because it was teeny . (tmi) You’ll be in my thoughts , think positive ! It’s not always as bad as it seems

It could also be caused by walking or exercising, especially if you weren’t hydrated.

My 17 year old has a trace of blood in her urine every time she goes to the doctor. Its a side effect of her diabetes and she takes medication for it to protect her kidneys from damage but its always been known and never been a major issue as long as she takes her medication.

I was thinking kidney stone as well. Glad you are getting a follow up from your doctor. Most likely it is something very common and treatable. I had unusual spotting between periods and googled, worst mistake! I had panic attacks too. Turns out it was a hormonal thing and went away on its own.

REALIZE. That Your Doctor Would Have Had You Hospitalized Immediately If Your Condition Was An Emergency.... [ calm down a little, take a deep breath ] ... Blood traces in urine DOES NOT mean you have cancer... That is just one of MANY possibilities... Look, They Have Found "Blood" In 7 Of 8 Of My Urine Tests Over The Past Year. Nobody Freaked Out About It... I See My Urologist For More Tests In A Week... They Xray-ed & checked my prostate twice & gave me two psa tests and they were good. This next test is the painful one. [ had it before about 20 years ago ] That's the steel tube ram in there with the eye piece on it & cam to look directly into the bladder. If he finds something ? Good ! Let's go get it out so I can start healing now. [ look, the chances you have bladder cancer isn't high just because you bled a little...if it is ? isn't it best to find it early ? ] You are gonna be fine...
