Anxiety
Hi crims, I had the same phase where I wasn't able to sleep for weeks.
Watch some comedy videos or series, which will reduce your stress, go for jogging or running, it will exhaust you. Try to focus on good things, ik that these are easy to say but hard to implement, because I went through same phase, if you're having anxiety and want to vent, am always here for you.
I was in the same boat as you just a week ago. I agree with Redfox9 said. Yoga helped me a lot too. Hang in there 🖤
Firstly, know you are not alone. I think here they have already wrote good examples of what things might help you around; I might add doing some exercise at home, something doable for you as well, even the slightest routine will definitely help you. Stay strong 🙌
Hi Crims10,
You got some great advice here already I'll add my thoughts!
Sleep is overrated. I recommend not worrying about sleep. Sounds weird, I know! But not focusing on sleep will help you sleep. Insomnia (and all of anxiety) are a paradox. The less you fear it, the more it goes away.
I used to do sleep hygiene when I had insomnia (link below), which helped. But the biggest help was losing my fear of insomnia. I decided- screw it. I'm just going to go crazy from lack of sleep, and I'm going to be a raging insomniac. Bring it on. I started getting up when I couldn't sleep, and would write, and cook, and do homework, and- whatever. Guess what? Started sleeping again. I would go to bed thinking, "OK if I can't sleep, here are all the things I'm going to do tonight. It'll be great- I've got a lot to do!" then I'd fall asleep This was after ~ 2 years of really outrageous insomnia and trying all the meds, taking Tryptophan, running miles and miles just to tire myself out- everything. Now when I have an occasional night of insomnia, I get psyched and get up and do stuff.

Wishing you all the best~
I drink Tumeric, hot milk, & honey before bed & take a melatonin. I was a wreck before I tried this combo about 3 months ago. Sorry if any of that isn’t helpful for you. Try to keep smiling and breathing and get or give some hugs and make eye contact with kind people- all these release oxytocin. My next hurdle is exercise. I know how helpful it is but I have a major block about starting. Be well
lots of topical magnesium.
Diet, exercise, water, essential oils. Even music all help calm me when I'm anxious. You might need counseling or maybe just someone to talk to. It is always possible you need to see a doctor. Don't give up. Keep trying until you find the right thing. There is something that will work for you. Peace to you.
