Feel better
I feel that Learning good coping strategies and triggers is important when dealing with anxiety. Mine is generalized anxiety and I have had it since adolescence. Only, I’m just now realizing that I’ve had anxiety all this time ....it’s just something that has grown with me. I’m 42 now and just now learning that my moodiness are so interlinked with my anxiety that I just accepted it as normal but really I’m not “normal “ I am full of anxiety and for me it will never end. Sorry I ranted about myself. All that to say, for some the anxiety may be an isolated incident, or recurring anxiety attacks, or ongoing, or mixed bag.
Please use this as a place to vent your feelings and feel safe. Utilize your healthcare resources if you haven’t already.
I send you peace ✌🏽
I just get a lot of anxiety about my relationship with my boyfriend cause I have low self esteem so it’s hard to know what’s real what’s my thoughts not the anxiety
That makes sense to me. Writing out your feelings or talking with a counselor can help sort out those thoughts. I stand in front of a mirror and talk through my anxiety and it sounds dumb but it helps. I read about this method from Dr David Carbonell on his anxietycoach website.
Hi friend! So sorry you have to write in and ask this kind of question this. Dealing with anxiety is no fun! I think most people deal with some levels of anxiety in their lives, but when it starts to take over and rob you of your peace, it makes us rethink our options for overcoming it.
I have had enough anxiety to know what it feels like, and found that getting to the root cause of what triggers the anxiety is key to finding the right solutions. You do not have to stay stuck with this - there are ways to get the right kind of help. And by "getting the right kind of help", I mean seeking out the people who understand the makeup of the human mind, body, soul, and spirit. They all work together and effect each other, so it's pointless to just resort to taking a drug for a quick fix and not solve the reason for the anxiety. Finding out the origin for your anxiety will the area you'll want to address first.
Have you had your hormone levels checked by a functional doctor specializing in endocrinology? You will be amazed at how much you can find out about yourself just through some simple tests.
Overcoming anxiety is a different process for everyone, so please be kind to yourself, and patient, and do your very best to seek out the right kind of people. Not all doctors, counselors, and therapists are the same - just because they wear a title does not qualify them to be the person you are looking for.
Making a decision to take the next step can be daunting or confusing, but promise yourself you refuse to stay stuck. Ask someone to help you, someone you trust and look up to, even if it's not a close friend.
Feel free to write back if you'd like.
