Help I don’t know what to do.

Okay so I have been taking Librium for almost a year now. It has been an okay benzodiazepine, but last year I use to be on Xanax. Xanax was better it made my anxiety go down by a landslide. But Librium only manages the anxiety. So what do I do?

Well that sucks. Did they give you a reason for not percribing xanax for you?

The same thing every doctor says in 2018 “The DEA, and FDA has put their foot down on giving it to people” like wtf so sorry I have tried everything else for anxiety, and benzodiazepines are the only thing that work. I even said maybe Ativan or Klonopin but no budge.

It’s not your fault by any means, it just upsets me that people like me who actually need them aren’t allow to receive them because of others. So sickening.

Sickening indeed! And those that abuse the drugs can prob just get it off the streets I assume... 😡

That’s exactly what they do. And it’s gotten to the point where I went in with bronchitis the other day, and they told me they couldn’t give me a cough syrup because of it.

Seems like if you have the diagnosis, they could actually let the doctors write it without repercussions.

I mean they are even preventing a specialist from writing it, I pay $85 to see her, and she can’t even write it. If she can’t who can?

Like if it was a Primary care doctor, yes I would understand but a specialist really?
