I don't want to fail

I know failure is a huge part of our progress even being so hard to deal with. Today my friend counted the days left for us to finish college and i got crazy. Just a few days and still nothing that makes me believe that i Will graduate showed. I have so many things to be done and such a short deadline. It is breaking my heart! I can't sleep well or do things without overthinking. Theres a weight on my shoulders, the weight of letting my parents down. My grandma wants me to graduate, i want to graduate either. But it's being so so hard to believe in me. I Will be the first in my family to graduate so their expectations are soooo high. Did someone ever experience the same stuff? If yes, could you tell me how you dealt with that?

I bet there are a lot of people feeling exactly they you feel and I bet it happens every year that exams have to be done and also I bet most of those people pass those exams.

It's natural to feel the pressure, just stop doubting yourself.

hey try not to look at things as failures look at them as setbacks.i doubt anyone in your family would see you as a failure.take great credit in the things you have achieved so far.try take your mind off it for the next few days by being active in other activities.

I would believe that many people have experienced what you have described, perhaps in different ways. I can very clearly remember those feelings from college and even today from time to time I will hit a time crunch at my current job, one where there is a lot of outside pressure and high expectations. I still get that sense of being overwhelmed and anxious. The best strategy I have found is to take a deep breath, assess what I have to accomplish and when each task must be completed. I break these up into smaller tasks, and make sure I dedicate time to each task. It’s also important to take breaks to refocus and relax a bit … maybe grab some coffee with a friend (even if you don't think you have time), or spend time with family (either in person, or on the phone). I think it’s great that you place such importance on excellence… we definitely need more of that in our world… but know that it is not the end of the world if we don’t meet those expectations. Of course we want to strive for them … but there are more important things in life than to stress. :) I forget that often and have to remind myself of that regularly.
