I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. This nasty disease really stinks. I also find staying busy is very helpful. We must fight the good fight for us, sadly no one else can do it for us. I'm here for you if I can help you in any way. Love, peace, light, joy & hugs!
My pleasure! When those ugly thoughts come in are you able to re focus on something that makes you happy? I really feel for you. If you'd like to chat you can pm me. Love, peace, light, joy & dump trucks of hugs for you!
I tried that once Igor....not good at it I guess...but stay away from things that make you feel inferior and focus on your next adventure....away we go eh
I know everyone here practically that suffers from depression has gone through this though at one time or another. But to think of it randomly is usually suicidal ideation. Still very important to get help. I found a great web site I thought was very helpful in understanding this and how to cope with it and what kind of help to get. Here are just a few paragraphs:
Suicidal thoughts are common, and many people experience them when they are undergoing stress or experiencing depression. In most cases, these are temporary and can be treated, but in some cases, they place the individual at risk for attempting or completing suicide.
Most people who experience suicidal ideation do not carry it through, although some may make suicide attempts.
Suicide ideation can be a symptom of a mental health problem, such as depression or bipolar disorder.
Genetic factors may increase the risk of suicidal ideation. Individuals with suicidal thoughts tend to have a family history of suicide or suicidal
I’m sorry for these thoughts that you’re struggling with ☹️
I’m glad you shared it with us so that we can support you xx so brave!
Are you getting any professional help for this?
Yes definitely stay busy doing the things you love ! Nature is very healing. Have you ever tried journaling? It helps me a lot to get thought out of my mind x
That is good you are staying healthy and thinking of things to do and keeping busy! Are you on any medication that might have side effects of suicidal thoughts? You should consider going to your doctor and telling him these things. One more thing: "Yes you do have a purpose. " What kind of interests do you have? Hobbies? Desires to help others? You mentioned petting animals- you must really like animals - maybe you can start up a dog walking business...
