I am always sad

I am in my 30s, married and having my favorite job. I have perfect living conditions (my own house and car) and saves enough for the future. I have kids and nice friends.

But, I am always sad, worried and thinking to make life better and better. If i paint my home, soon after i prefer another color for the home and thinks too much about the new painting. If i plant a apple tree, I then think of planting an other tree.

I never stay cool with the things i have done or i access. this makes me sad and always sad. I remain depress, angry on people, and can not feel happy.

I do sports but that also does not help me.

Hi I always see a danger sign whenever anyone mentions that any part of their life is 'perfect'. Perfection doesn't exist and if it did it would be very boring. We all need a challenge so maybe this is why you keep trying to change things. Is there a hobby you could take up? Or how about going out more with friends? x

It sounds like you're restless and always want to be in action - either physically like the sports or mentally/emotionally finding new things to do, change or be a part of which could be a type of OCD. Saying that you're sad though too makes depression a real possibility as well - have you ever tried counseling at all? Having someone to talk to who can listen and give some advice as a neutral 3rd party might be helpful -- and a therapist/counselor will have experience in giving some suggestions that may have worked for others in similar situations. Taking time to try to enjoy what you have and finding the good in your life is also a great idea - maybe keeping a gratitude journal jotting down 3 or 4 things that were good each day might help too that you can look back on when you feel unsettled and sad. I hope you can find some help and start to feel better soon.
