Trying something new

So I recently started seeing a new therapist. He has a completely different approach to fighting my anxiety and depression. I have to tackle each thought that provokes a feeling I don't like and choose a different thought. This is going to be challenging. I need to build a new set of beliefs about myself.

I have tried so many things, so why not this? I just need to keep on going.

"if you can make it through the night then there's a brighter day."

One breath at a time.

Sounds great. Stay positive and never give up. Challenges make us stronger as we reach our goal. One breath at a time (I like that) Good Luck, keep us posted on your progress. x

Thank you. I am encouraged by the positive comments.

Yes! I advocate this approach too and plenty think I’m simplifying all and discount this method. They respond to me, “It would be great if it were that easy.” But it really is that simple! If you’re persistent and committed to this approach, it really works! Your mind seems to calm down. It does take practice. I wish you much luck and send my support!

Thank you for the support. I'm stumbling along and if nothing else, at least I can get rid of the thoughts that don't serve me.
