That’s the thing I was starving. At least that’s what I’m stomach said.
When I'm in a deep state of depression, I go through the same thing. I'm hungry, but have zero will or energy to get up to make anything. My strategy to prepare for those times is to keep snack like food near my couch and my bed. It helps me get nutrition and gives me more energy. I started doing this to keep my blood sugar stable when I was getting through those times.
In my couch's side table and my bedside table drawers I keep packets of peanut butter crackers, a little bag of cashews or mixed nuts, a couple of bottled nutrition drinks like Ensure and some bottles of water. I also keep ginger ale and ginger candies there too because d during those rough days, I have tummy issues too. Maybe this will work for you?
