First mental health team appointment ... - Anxiety and Depre...
First mental health team appointment in years
hi my first time I went to see a guy and he took all my details as to why I needed help.he then made an appointment for a couple of weeks later with someone else and that was who I seen for nearly 2 years.just an insight of your reasons to going along probably then they might ask you if you are most comfortable with a man or woman.all relaxing so lets hope by tomorrow you are ok.just read a magazine or listen to some music before you go in to help you relax a little.hope it goes well/
Oh right I guess asking if male or female counts to some that's good thanks I didn't know that.
hi yeah being a guy I thought if I saw a guy he would think im stupid or laugh at me behind my back so I said I would feel more comfortable talking to a woman.i was probably wrong but I was having a rough time.
Makes sense probably most men do the same I would think.
Hi curlybacks, I was reading up on your recent diagnosis 2 weeks ago. Fibromyalgia.
I am also a Fibromite. It came right after my diagnosis of Anxiety. They can go together hand in hand because of the stress, sleepless nights and not going into REM sleep.
As for your first mental health visit tomorrow, it's as kenster1 stated. It's about them getting to know you and what brings you there. Actually, it can be very comforting to finally find someone who understands and works with your emotional issues. I wish you well. Let us know how it went. Wishing you Gentle Hugs My Fibro Friend xx
Than you for you lovely message and taking time to read up ,yes I also have dercums disease but there's no community room on here for that you see its a rare disease I believe thier connected somehow
Let me read up on that. Will get back to you xx
Curlybacks, just when I thought I put all the pieces together, I learn something new.
I was the poster women for Fibro 30 years ago. Made a health film with my Rheumatologist and became an advocate for newly diagnosed patients. At that time, it was thought that Fibro went along with Anxiety Disorders as well as Mitral Valve Prolapse which I also have. Now you brought another equation into this anomaly, Dercums Disease. Especially since I've had a Lipoma at the base of the left side of my neck for years. Thank you for sharing your journey.
One step at a time though. Good Luck with your first appointment tomorrow. xx
Any other lumps agora?I have lump bottom of left back of neck sometimes the area hurts.there's videos about it on YouTube there's only 86articles been printed about it apparently, I have that h.s to,the cysts the thing is thier all connective tissue things and skin oils odd eh?so do you still do your advocating?
That's the only significant lump. I've been watching Dr. Pimple Popper and how
she squeezes out Lipomas and yet the doctors never choose to touch it.
I am now on a Fibro site with Health Unlocked called "My Fibro Team" I go under the username of Bella Mia. You might want to take a look sometime. xx
Will do.
