If we start being honest about our pain, our anger, and our shortcomings instead of pretending they don’t exist, then maybe we’ll leave the world a better place than we found it....a quoteIf we get swollen finger or toothache or even if we have normal cold n flu everyone around us told us go and see the doctor. But when we say like,oh im feeling low today or im feeling depressed what we advice…. hey com’ on lets have some drinks or get some action tonite u ll be fine😉😜😃😃…. On serious note everyone in their lives at some point experience such feelings, sometimes these feelings become so intense that it start interrupting our routine lives. At such point, most of us dont know what to do,where to seek help. We hesitate to talk about it openly coz people will laugh….. so its very important for all of us to pay equal importance to our mental wellbeing as we do for our physical well being. Things wont be right themselves by just pushing things under the carpet. Time to be more compassionate, more empathetic….. Everyone is going through tough times, try to help others, if thats not possible then atleast dont create problems for others……
Dont feel ashamed if you have anxiety, depression or any other mental health issues, talk about it and seek help from your local available organisations who
can offer you discreet support and advice…..
Take care of yourselves, only then we can look after our loved ones😊😊 Enough for now….. pratyaya singh

Where I work every week I have been there there has been someone crying in the staff room there.
Yesterday 2 colleagues had cried one because there was a baby in the pharmacy as she had a miscarriage recently and one because silly little things had built up and she had got stuck in traffic which had been the final blow!
Last week they had a colleague in tears because they wouldn't let her change her hours and were unfair and unkind over it and another one was in tears due to their attitude as well!
There was another colleague they had in tears after they had had a go at her for not wanting to socialise with others in the staff room.
Perhaps that colleague could benefit from socialising more but it's not their place to tell her that!
They had a lady who works in the offices crying as well.
Back in June they had me upset and crying in the staff room after I had made a mistake with making up some medicine and it's the way they went about this that upset me rather than having gone to work at the other hospital in itself.
Luckily I have got my confidence back now after that happened but at the time it had felt like the world had ended!
Yesterday I said to the colleague who was crying over the baby in the pharmacy how it does you no favours to hold your tears in and had offered her a cup of tea to calm down.
I don’t know about that. It’s a blanket statement. I’m not like that, you aren’t like that and many more aren’t like that. If the majority of the world was like that, we’d be shut away. But we aren’t, are we? That would be a reason to give up hope and I’m not there. Have you given up hope? Aren’t we here to give hope, not destroy it?
I really do believe that there are good people out there who are caring and compassionate. Sometimes we just don't see our brains are wired to see negatives and forgot to notice the good things . Also having self compassion and being kind to ourselves helps us show empathy to others . There is less stigma around mental health and more people are opening up to it . Yes we have a very long long way to go but it's as whole things are better than they were say 50 years ago.
