HELP WITH RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTERS NEAR NEW YORK FOR SISTER SUFFERING FROM ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION

My sister tried to commit suicide last week. She is currently in a inpatient psychiatric center because she is suffering from anxiety and major depressive disorder. Up until recently she was an extremely intelligent school teacher but is very sad and having trouble with anti-depressants working. The hospital is looking to release her soon and I need help locating Residential Treatment Centers that can offer my sister intense therapy and counseling in the New York area. Any help, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The hospital social worker should be working on a discharge plan. I would connect with her. Also, contact your sister's insurance company if they will speak with you to find out facilities they cover. Hopefully between those two things you will find a good place for her.
