Everything has been going so wrong lately. I don't have enough time to get anything done. I'm a stay at home mom who works and does everything by myself. I don't have anyone to talk to and just don't know what to do anymore. I just want things to get better. I miss being who I used to be I hate being this overwhelmed and upset all the time.
When does it get better? :( - Anxiety and Depre...
Hello Gearheadchick. I like your name by the way. I hear you that you have a full time job plus all the house work on your own. I understand that doesn’t give you time for yourself. That makes it tough to get out and make friends or find a significant other if you wanted one. We all need time for ourselves and you need to find that outlet as I’m sure you already know this. I don’t know your individual circumstances but don’t get frustrated things always change.
Thank you. I have a boyfriend of 3 years but he just doesn't understand it. I've tried talking to him multiple times and it gets nowhere. I literally do everything for our son by myself, take care of the house and pets alone, do the bills alone. I have a work from home part time job that I have to do in between everything else...I have no friends or family here either so it's a very lonely life. He gets selfish and lies about little shit all the time and I'm just burnt out. I don't know what to do anymore. My family isn't supportive and I just feel nobody understands. My day starts at 6 or 7 and doesn't end until 11 most nights. I just want to throw in the towel
It must be very hard not having family or friends around. I know it’s not my business but the way I see it is your boyfriend has you under his thumb. I don’t know how he treats you, but if he’s putting everything on you that’s a form of controlling your every waking hour. It sounds like you’re better off without him unless he starts kicking in.
I'm so sorry you feel so alone. Sometimes people feel alone but are not really but in your case, other than your b/f you have no one else. I don't know about your relationship but it doesn't sound healthy. If he is not helping you in anyway it may be time to re think things. You really do need time for yourself, even if its only an hour. Housework will always be there, its part of life. Don't let it rule you. Your p/t job, you Have to do so get it out of the way each day as quickly as you can so your time is freed up. Then do something for you that pleases you in some way. Listen to your music, read a book, go window shopping, go for a walk and when you see people, smile and say hi. It will make You feel better and it may be the only smile that person gets that day. Volunteer somewhere. Feel better.
