Starting New Meds

Finally! After being on the same Anti-Depressant - Effexor for over 8 years and it not really working for the last 2 years my newer Dr. has started me on Cymbalta. I am hoping this helps, I have heard good things about Cymbalta from people I know that suffer the same issues that I do but I have also talked to people that it did not help so we will see. I really do not want to go up to the next class of medication but if this doesnt work we only have 1 option left before I have to be bumped up to a "narcotic". Fingers crossed this works because I do not want to be on a habit forming drug for the rest of my life. I am feeling very optimistic about this, especially since I finally have a doctor that listens to me and genuinely wants to help me.

Hi! I take Cymbalta 60mg everyday and it helps me! My only issue is that it makes me sweat profusely at times and can be embarrassing. But!! It elevates my mood so I will take it. I wish you much luck!!
