Med change

Hello! I was on Lexapro for about 4 weeks and honestly nothing changed. It made matters worse for a while. I stuck it out in hopes it would change but it didn’t. When I spoke to my doctor she switched me over to Wellbutrin. I’m just wondering if anyone has any reviews I guess you can say on this particular med. haven’t heard much about it. I just want to feel better without gaining weight like a whale. Thanks!!

I started off with Lexapro as well, but after a few months my doctor switched me over to Prozac because the medication was making me very tired and more depressed/suicidal. I don't know much about Wellbutrin other than that it is an NDRI and is used to treat depression, SAD, and can help people quit smoking. I hope this medication works better for you!

Hi Ctod0214, I took Lexapro and it didn't work for me either, I'm now trying Prozac from taking Celexa for almost 4 months and it worked, just for your FYI medication for anxiety and depression or medication for other

mental illness will make you sick before you get better, I'm going through it now with Prozac I'm sick all day 😣

Both of those are good meds. Its a matter of trial and error for awhile. I know it's hard waiting. If you have anxiety attacks let your Dr know cause he can give you something else along with the anti-dep.

Hi Crod0214, I also take Hydrocizine 50 mg for being nervous 2 to 3 times a day as needed and it helps.

hi so i am currently taking lexapro and it doesn't work and prozac works like a charm but you need to watch out for the side effect and tbh celexa doesn't work itś like a fake pill that tries to trick you into making you feel better
