I started paxil 20mg a day about a month or so ago. I am having my first period since starting and I feel like my emotions are heightened. At this moment i feel like i could burst into tears at any moment and i am not even sure why. (not normal for me) Has anybody else noticed this before?

Yes. I started some new medicine from my therapist a month or so ago too. I’ve had my period since I was 11 now I’m almost 14. I completely understand what you mean when you say, “At this moment I feel like I could burst into tears at any moment and I am not even sure why.” I’ve felt the same. I’ve spent many nights crying and crying until my eyes decided no more tears. I totally understand you. I hope you get better. My best wishes for you.
