Hello, it sounds from your post that you are in USA? So I imagine it's very difficult for you to get Counseling, or Meds you need when short of Money. I find the online hypnosis by Jason Stephenson n Michael Sealy. Very good. When I'm feeling stressed. They are I think, Australian n have most soothing voices. It's free. Also, Art n craft work help me to feel focused and take my mind from my troubles. Or even just a long walk can help. I hope you too can find something that helps you. Best of wishes 😊👍🌻

Hi NotSoSunny,Happy to have you here. First off, I think you are in the right spot. I have partcicpated in anxiety and depression forums before and tired quickly of all the negative and not focusing on helping its users. This, fortunately, is not that! There are enough good people her that help each other and I hope you find it here too!

I have been experiencing social anxiety since I was a freshman in high school (20 years). I have found nothing but frustration with Western Medication. I am currently trying to get off of my anxiety medication and the withdrawl is worse then the anxiety I was originally experiencing. I have found that I need to focus on my self-esteem and doing things that I love to do.

I see you have been putting effort in getting your depression and anxiety under control and that's fantastic! There are many areas you can address with d and a and each one is a step in the right direction. Exercise, diet, meditation, controlled breathing, and reading are some of the areas I personally focus on. Try and remeber that one bad day cannot own you and should not be able to set you back! Stay determined and don't get comfortable in your progress. Stay hungry!

Hopefully you are titrating with a doctor's guidance regarding your anxiety medication. That would help with withdrawal symptoms. My doctor helped me do this and it works but, you've got to go slowly. I'm not a doctor but, I can tell you that it helps tremendously when you GO SLOW. Some doctors will encourage you to supplement with an herb. Now, I've had a long day- I'm gonna go rest my head. On a side note, it is easy really easy to say remember that one bad day cannot own you- but, I've had just about enough. What I mean to say is, my circumstances are compounding my feelings and I don't like it one bit! That's my rant for today.
