I just had a crazy dream. Where I injured my wrist and hand. Went to hospital where they were talking about opening up my wrist and inside of my palm on my left hand working on it. Surgery would take about 20 hours. I'd go through some growing pains at firat and rehab but it should come back stronger then ever.
I woke up and my left wrist and hand felt so heavy like they operated on it. It felt so life like. I've never had that kinda feeling before from a dream. I woke up being chased before and like breathing heavy. But it didn't freak me out as much as this.
My hand and wrist are starting to get back to normal now but slowly. I wanna say it felt like pins and needles and then got this heavy feeling. Idk how to describe it. Just crazy. Anyone else have a dream like that?
I'm gonna stay up for a little bit as I don't wanna fall back into that dream. Hope everyone is having a good night. Thanks for listening.

Hi Michael, that pins and needles feeling was because your hand fell asleep maybe from the position your hand/arm was in. Our subconscious is always alert and ready to protect us. When your brain felt that odd feeling, it produced a dream interpreting it as a red flag something was wrong. It woke you up, got you to move your hand and arm and get the circulation going.
No harm done. Even when asleep know that your body is taking good care of you. I hope you fell back to sleep last night with no other problems.
That makes sense for sure. There was more to it then just the pins and needles. It was a crazy dream! I'm glad that my body does that while I'm asleep. It makes me feel better.
Ironically enough the palm of my left hand has been bothering me the last couple of days. Like it swelled up a bit. Maybe I pulled a muscle or did something else Idk. It's better today still a little sore.
I think dreams bring up a good conversation though. Like do you think dreams could be a premonition to something thats gonna/might happen? Or you read into what the dream might mean from like a dream book?
Thank you for making me feel better about It! It took me 4 hours to go back to sleep. I watched some comedian clips on you tube. so it helped distract me from my thoughts for a bit. I'm tired today though. Been dragging at work.
Let me know if you find anything good in the dreambook. I'm curious about it. As I am with most of my dreams. But kinda scared at the same time if that makes sense. I tend to only remember the nightmares or crazy dreams. Rather then my good ones.
Hi Michael....I have my Dream book in front of me. Dreaming of a surgeon could be you are about to change jobs. (any change in your life) Undergoing surgery, your lifestyle is about to change. Watch an operation, some surprising news will arrive. That's it from the Dream Dictionary.
As for my interpretation, dreams are never what they might seem to be on the surface. It goes deeper than that. There's a psychological reason behind dreams whether it's a worry or a wish in life. Dreams just bring that to the surface.
In your case, I truly believe it surfaced when your hand and arm fell asleep kicking into your fears of "will you always be in this state of anxiety"... In the words of your dream you stated, "Surgery would take about 20 hours (20 might be significant, don't know how old you are) I'd go through some growing pains (again having to do with age) at first and rehab (psychological therapy) but it should come back stronger than ever" That's you coming back stronger than ever, meaning this too shall pass.
Michael, take it as hogwash or an incentive in going forward in life. You have a bright future ahead of you. Stay positive and don't worry about dreams. Life is about living in the moment
