Do something you like. You will more likely stick with it. I find aerobic type of activity (like bike riding) releases the endorphins (runners high).
Walking like you are doing is very good. You could also get some small dumbbells and do some light weight training. Or wear some ankle weights while working around the house if you don’t feel like going out side.

Brilliant that you're (literally!) taking steps to do something positive for yourself though.
I enjoy Zumba, it never fails to Give me a lift. I find different teachers choose different styles of music though so it's worth trying a few to see which you prefer.
I wish I had someone to go with but my friend doesn't get on with Zumba - she's mad keen on line dancing and that doesn't do it for me. Maybe worth considering that too though.
Walking is great also.

Good- getting out in nature helps also.
Yes. Walking does really help. Especially if you are walking on a path with trees going through the woods. Also sunshine helps with moods. If you have to, walking in air conditioning helps too with the hot weather.
