Im Sassy. I have had periodic anxiety and panic attacks since i was around 17. I am now 45... About 5 years ago I would have bad daily episodes of anxiety but would just push through them, at the time I was in school... I have noticed recently that in the past few months my anxiety has gotten worse... They are a daily occurence and they are full blown panic and anxiety attacks. They disrupte my day to the point of not being able to function at all some days, and although I know what they are I just flip out hyperventilate to the point of syncope. Im so tired of not being able to control them but can not take xanax or benzodiazepine...they make them worse

Anxiety Everyday Allday
You noticed the last several months your anxiety has gotten worse. What has happened in those months? I used to be agoraphobic from panic attacks. I overcame them and no longer get them. It took me 14 years of hard work. It’s not easy. It takes time and fortitude. I can offer tips but I don’t know specifically when your attacks occur.
Time and fortitude is such good advice, Here I am. You have a lot of insight and good advice. I really think you are a warrior to overcome these challenges. It give people hope for change.

Hello Sassy. I can relate to you. I try CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy exercises and it provides that logical relief. I know what you mean by physical symptoms. I struggle as well.
I go on here hoping to share anything that Ai think may help. It makes me sad that we have to suffer. But it makes me compassionate as All I want to do is try and help. Even if it a small bit.
