Everyday basic meditation I am finding helpful

Hey guys.... I have just started my journey towards healing. Since last one week I have been meditating for atleast half an hour a day. Everyday I select a different playlist from Spotify related to meditation/peaceful sounds. There's ample of them. So I just focus on my breath and observe my tummy rise and fall as I have my earphones plugged in listening to the meditative music from Spotify all along. Shuffling and experimenting with different sounds/playlists from spotify helps to let the novelty not die down and keeps the chore of meditation from not getting boring and mundane. A smile on your face throughout the 30 mins helps a lot. You can also imagine and say positive words/affirmations to yourself while taking deep breaths. I know this is not much and everything I have said is already basic facts but let's all commit to meditation everyday for a week to begin with. CHEERS AND GOD BLESS!!! KEEP SMILING AND KEEP LOVING GUYS.... Y'ALL ARE AMAZING😙😙😙

I have been meditating for 590 days straight with insight timer.

I do it multiple times a day. It's peaceful and relaxing.

Enjoy your mediations.

Haha

Keep with it. It's helped me so much. I have a sense of peace with it.

I do yoga too. Both help me focus and stop the noise going on in my brain.

I've taken a gym membership from the upcoming month... I payed for 6 months in advance so I can't bail out thinking "Get fit... Have flab... Die anyway?!?"

How much time and how many times a day would you recommend doing meditation?

Awesome on the gym. Don't waste that money!

I think meditation is so individual. I have long and short ones on my favorites.

I always do it at bedtime. I don't sleep well so I am up and down all night.

I like to do it in the morning. To start my day. Sometimes I need a short one in the car after work lol. Before driving of course

You will find what's best for you. I have a one minute one earmarked. Sometimes I offer to play it at work when things get heated.

Just enjoy the peace it brings to you. When you can turn the world off and find that point of relaxation it's so good for you.
