Hey all, Brian here. My energy level went up on a rainy day here. Something I just don't understand lol I have to go to the hospital for a surgical consultation on Friday morning to discuss possible surgery on the mass in my right groin. My PCP got the results of my CT scan and she thinks it might possibly be a massive lymph node and that I'm either going in for a biopsy or flat out surgery. I'm hoping it's not Hodgkins lymphoma. Anyway, I'll keep everyone up to date on what's going on.
Your friend,
Brian

You're welcome Brian! I really enjoy your music posts. I'm a huge music nut, though I have no talent to play anything, I think you may have said the same? I'm sorry, I don't recall.
Music really takes me away from everything, it is my ultimate get away from it all. I was replying to another friend here and she was out today for a walk and ride on her scooter and I was very happy for her.
Like her and you, I can't even begin to imagine staying inside so much. I enjoy being out, not always around a lot of people, but I don't have a problem dealing with that.
After I worked graveyard shift for a few years I could relate. I hated being around a crowd, I even made excuses to miss family gatherings. I'm happy I worked out of that.
Thanks Metal! I love music as well and I also can't carry a tune in a bucket myself I also want to get more comfortable around other people. It's still a way off, but I'm working on it. And I will definitely keep everyone posted. And if you want to message me anytime, feel free
Thank you Brian! My name is Leigh. My love of music, as you might guess from my screen name, metalminded, is heavy metal. I enjoy most genres of music and seeking out things I've never heard. The last few years I've been listening to obscure 70's progressive rock, it's such a thrill to find a new (old) band then search for music. It's a passion!!
The Civil War is my other passion. Doing anything related to that or music really takes me out of the daily grind and when I don't feel well, depressed, anxious, etc. those two things really help. I think everyone needs something to do that will take their mind off their troubles. It helps so much!!!!!
your friend!
Leigh
feel free to message me anytime as well. I love to "talk" and help where and when I can and I look for the same in others.
Nice to make your acquaintance Leigh I will definitely send you a PM this afternoon when I get home. I love the Civil War era as well. I used to live near Fredericksburg in Virginia, so I was right near the center of a huge Civil War culture
Hi, Brian! Maybe the heat zaps your energy? I hope you get a good outcome and hopefully it is just something minor. Wishing you the best in health. We are here to support you.
Thanks Ayla! Sometimes, I don't exactly know what zaps my energy. Today, it's low 70's and sunny here and I've got energy. Even went to a local park and sat and read for a bit. It's strange how my energy is all over the place at the time. Don't worry, I'll keep everyone here updated. 😀
