Hi all! Brian here! Again, sorry I haven't posted as much but I've really mentally fatigued with all that's been going on.

Well, saw the doctor overseeing my case yesterday. My MRI can back clear, which means the cancer hasn't spread to my lungs, which is a plus. The CT scan on the tumor came back the way the doctor thought it would. He's pleased with how things have been going, so he said it's time to schedule me for surgery. I don't have the exact date yet, but he said it will probably be in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Both he and the plastic surgeon have to get together and see when they're both available, since the doctor I saw yesterday will actually be the one removing the tumor. The plastic surgeon will be doing the reconstructive phase of the surgery once the oncologist has finished. So, a huge weight lifted off my shoulders lol Now, the waiting game starts. Don't you just love having to wait? lol I've missed talking to all of you and hopefully I'll be on Friday to chat and offer some positive vibes. Hi Brian you seem in good spirits despite everything you're going through.i suppose if you don't laugh you'll cry hope it's giving your head a boost you keep it up and rest as much as you can take it easy hope you keep us all up to date when you can take care buddy

I am new to this site and your message touched me. I am a two time cancer survivor and i know what your going through. Just keep in mind, after everything, the pain will subside and you will have a deeper appreciate for life. Im wishing you the best my new friend! God is with you!!

That's good news! But yes I agree the waiting is the worse. Hope the wait isn't too stressful for you. Soon it will be all over and you'll be on the road to recovery. Good to hear from you

I will be thinking of you Brian! I so admire your courage and outlook. If anyone deserves a break, it’s you! I also hate waiting, but this is a big deal and waiting for the doctors to coordinate everything appropriately for you is desired. I know that you’ll come through with flying colors because that’s just who you are and what you’re all about! Something worth waiting for Brian!!
