I found out about 'Calm harm' and 'Virtual hope box' during my group therapy session one of them have meditations, breathing exercises games to distract you, inspiring quotes and other things. The Breathe app also help with anxiety episodes. Haven't been feeling well lately and i went back to one on one therapy i didn't want to sit around and listen to anyone since my urges got too strong these apps are really good

Hi SweetSymphony, I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Hope things improve for you soon. You are such a positive addition to the forum x Your apps sound like a great resource as well as going back to "one on one" therapy. Take some "me time" for yourself and Breathe :) xx

very cool....I went to a site that defines what the app does....the part I liked was this one:

RELEASE ACTIVITIES FOR MANAGING SELF-HARM

Hold some ice cubes in your hands or where you want to harm.

Squeeze a rubber ball very hard.

Get a sheet of bubble wrap, burst each bubble as slowly as you can.

At least one of these coping skills will help you, and if not, there's more in the app, including some I've never heard of. There are even some you can add ni the app when you're calm to remind yourself of in a crisis.

Yes it's really helpful that's why I wanted to share it, not only is it amazing for self harmers like myself it help since i have some really bad panic attacks at times

Don’t get discouraged. You didn’t take a step back but a step forward. By recognizing your discomfort during the group sessions and then making the necessary changes to correct them is a huge step in progress. Celebrate your victory. You are doing well.

You're absolutely right, group therapy is a nono for now.
