Can anyone tell me when they say reduce your antidepressant gradually over 4 weeks , do they mean that you will be off it in 4 weeks because I’m confused , and I don’t want to go too fast , I’m taking 200mg , thanks in advance.

I have never heard anyone say reduce your meds over 4 weeks. As far as I'm aware are it's much slower than that and should be done under a doctors guidance.

Also do not try and come off your meds unless you have felt better for at least 6 months. If you come off them too soon not only will you have to go through withdrawal but you might find your symptoms returning. x

Thank you , it says it on all sites , but I didn’t know if it means gradually over 4 weeks or of it by 4 weeks 👍🏼

I can only repeat I have never heard of coming off ad's within 4 weeks. Why not seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist?

It's not how long you have been on the meds which matters but how long you have felt better on them for.

Of course it's up to you at the end of the day what you do.
